Localizzazione territoriale e geografica

Castelleone di Suasa is situated on the top of a hill at 206 meters on the sea level on the right of Cesano river, that divides it from the Province of Pesaro.

La storia

"Castelleone" derives from the Middle Age toponym Castillione, while Suasa has been added in recent times reminding the Roman town whose ruins can be found downhill. On the coat of arms it is possible to see a lion rampant on battlemented tower.
