Localizzazione territoriale e geografica

Castelbellino, the smallest town council of the province of Ancona is situated at 267 meters on the sea level and its characteristic position, very near to the plain, but in an elevated position, includes it among the pre-Appenine landscapes of Marche region on which the blue view of mount San Vicino dominates.

La storia

The toponym Castelbellino comes from Castrum Ghibellinum, the name of the castle, a sort of shelter of the ghibellini coming out from the near Jesi rebuilt towards the half of the XIV century.
