Localizzazione territoriale e geografica

The village is on the right side of Esino river at 224 meters on the sea level, on a small hill near the one of Staffolo from where it is only 4 Km far. It owes its splendour above all to its fertile land therefore agriculture represents its main richness. It offers very good walks for the tourists, with wonderful panoramas while the quiet position far from the winds makes of San Paolo a pleasant winter stay.

La storia

The toponym comes from the hagionym San Paolo, referring to the patron saint of the village, known in this way since the Middle Age. Since the 8th of February 1863 the specification of Jesi has been added to the traditional denomination to distinguish it from other homonymous centres.
